Easter Weekend

Both the Mitchell and Wilcox families decided to head to Utah for Conference this spring, so we caught a ride with my family when they came through Rexburg on Friday. Everyone went to the Saturday Afternoon session except for Karys and me. We watched it with some close family friends in Ogden that I hadn't seen in forever. Then while the guys were all at the Priesthood session the girls all went shopping. I think that was the first time I've gone to a mall with Karys and it was kind of an adventure for me as I didn't have a bottle made up so I ended up feeding her in a change room :) Fun memories. Then we all headed back up to Rexburg on Sunday and had a nice Easter dinner at Grumps' house.

Interesting note: The president of the stake I grew up in was suddenly released a couple weeks earlier and lo and behold, as suspected, he was called as a new area seventy during conference. As my family was leaving conference they saw him and his wife and were able to talk to both Elder Christensen and Elder Perkins. I understand that he is the first seventy called from British Columbia. Also, the Vancouver Temple (which is actually in Langley, right next to my home ward's chapel) is now giving open house tours and of course my parents volunteered to help!

Oh I just love that little Karys Wilcox! I really do need to have her over sometime soon! Next date night perhaps?
