Cuteness

Karys is 15 months old now & Nursery is fast approaching YAY! (nursery is a class at church for young kids for those who don't know).  She's just barely 22 lbs but she runs around like crazy all the time and talks a lot.  Some of her new words in this last month are:
"Ga-ma" = Grandma Renee
"Ga-pa" = Grandpa Alan (she still has a hard time saying 'pa')
"GG" = Grandma Leslie
"Pops" = Grandpa Blaine
"no touch" while shaking her finger at things she isn't supposed to touch
"good girl" when agreeing that she will be a good girl to get out of time-out, etc
"ni-night" = night night
"ba-na-na-na" = banana
"pi-ee" = pretty
"Kys" = Karys
"shoes"
"toes"
 "knees"

 "wel-wo" = elmo
"po-boo" = pooh bear
"Jess" = Jesus
"Amen"
"Daip-daip" = diaper
"books"
"stee" = story
"wuv you" = love you
"coo-ie" = cookie
"tay" = okay
most animal sounds
she has also said thank you, please, welcome, etc... for quite a while now
Anyways that's all I can think of right now :)  she talks a lot that's for sure, and she'll pretty much try to copy anything you say.  She does a wonderful job saying prayers with us.

She often lays out her blanket, and sometimes all the pillows in the room, and rolls around on it saying "ni-night"...I'm not sure why she thinks it's so funny but she likes it.

And here is Karys's new dance move that we've begun to call her "wiggle dance". She is doing it during the theme song to this Horseland show she likes.

Aquarium Trip

For New Year's Eve we were originally planning a trip down to see Cameron's family in California, but a combination of obstacles just seemed to keep popping up so we decided to take that trip at a later date.  Sorry we couldn't make it!  We miss you guys and hope to see you soon!

So we redid our plans for the weekend and went up to visit with my family and decided to take Karys to the Vancouver Aquarium which is in Stanley Park (just a little one, its only 1000 acres of land) right by the harbour and downtown.  It was a lot of fun.

 Funnily enough my favorite part is where there weren't any fish :) mainly because it's super warm in there.  See the birds up in the corner?

They had a 4D Polar Express movie we watched.  Karys was really good but got a little frightened by the loud noises, spraying water, etc
