March Trip Part 1 - Toronto

Back in March, Karys and I went on a big trip with my family (Cameron had to work).  We flew from Seattle to Toronto and since it's about a 5 hr flight I was very grateful to have my family there to help.  Karys actually ended up having some vaccinations done the day before we left and of course this had to be first time she's ever had a reaction to them. The poor girl got a fever and was miserable the whole way there and the first couple of days into the trip.  Eventually she began to feel better and also adjust to the time zone jump.  Here is the first segment of our trip.

P.S. sorry I'm so slow at getting them these pics up.  had a bunch all ready to post and of course somehow it got deleted while I was editing one time.

Pretty certain this is Mt.Baker
It was soooo cold back east!
We visited my cousin Steve & his wife Debbie
She really liked their fuzzy pillow :)

snuggling Auntie Lala (Lisa)

We saw a bunch of cool buildings around University of Toronto's campus:

Statue in Queen's Park of King Edward VII
the statue used to be in India actually

The CN Tower:
 view from the top
   standing on the glass floor
chart comparing the height of the CN Tower
it is 1815 ft tall & held the record for World's tallest tower
for 34 yrs until the Burj Khalifa in Dubai
outside walkway up on the tower - very windy!
back at the bottom looking up

So somehow we took all these pictures and didn't get a single one of the wonderful family who let us stay with them while we were in the Toronto area: the Connell family.  Thank you so much to them for giving us a place to crash.  It was so nice to see you guys again. We miss you!

We did however get this one picture of Karys playing cars with their youngest boy Ian...and Ian's not even in this picture either! Did you plan this Krista?? haha
