Had to go see the ocean at least once while I was home, even if it is winter and kinda cold. I miss my ocean!! We just took a quick trip to White Rock beach and the pier, it's not the best one for swimming at but fun if you're just going to walk around like we were.
Here's a view down the pier.
From the pier you can see the big White Rock on the left and the Peace Arch at the border crossing on the right in the distance.
All along these rocks at the end of the pier are tons of seagulls.
Me on the dock. Gotta love all the houses on the hill that come as close as possible to the beach.

Shh, don't tell Cindy. We have lived only 2 hrs from the coast for almost two years now and I still haven't taken her.
